Anchor Business
We are honored to have our friends at Mean Max Brew Works in Troy, NY to be our Anchor Business for our March Proof of Concept.
Mean Max Brew Works is the heart of our March Proof of Concept, serving as the official "Run Hub" for the Troy Running League. Known for their handcrafted ales and a taproom that captures the industrial, high-energy spirit of Troy, Mean Max is more than just a brewery; they are a vital community anchor on River Street. By hosting our first monthly segment, they are helping us demonstrate the "Halo Effect", the tangible positive impact that a dedicated running community can have on the local businesses that make our city thrive.
Supporting Organizations
We are honored to have the support of these organizations!
Albany Running Exchange (ARE) is a driving force behind the regional running scene, dedicated to making the sport accessible, social, and adventurous for everyone. With decades of experience in event timing, trail racing, and community building, ARE provides the organizational backbone and spirit of inclusivity that makes the Troy Running League possible. Their commitment to thinking outside the traditional "race box" is what allows us to bridge the gap between competitive sport and community impact, ensuring that every runner, regardless of speed, has a place on the starting line.
Fleet Feet Albany & Malta serves as a cornerstone of the Capital District running community, providing more than just gear through their commitment to movement and inclusivity. As a supporting partner of the Troy Running League, they bring a wealth of expertise in outfitting runners for the unique demands of urban pavement while fostering an environment where every pace is celebrated. Their dedication to local engagement and "Power of Run" philosophy aligns perfectly with our mission to strengthen the bond between athletes and the vibrant storefronts of Troy.
Our Logo
I’m not a graphic designer in the least. I know nothing about branding. I don’t even have a very good eye.
An old friend, Paul Engel on Instagram, does have a good eye, does know about graphic design, and knows about branding. He’s also running more. So he took it upon himself to redesign the TRL logo. And I love it.
So thank you PJ, I really appreciate it, and I look forward to seeing this for years.
(And I’m so glad that I didn’t have merch printed up)
