We value grit and community over a fast mile. In the Troy Running League, you don’t have to be the quickest on the block to take home the prize. Here is how we celebrate our participants:
The Everydayer (Consistency): Awarded to the participant with the highest number of unique days active on the loop. If you show up 25 days out of 31, you’re the one to beat.
The Monumental (Endurance): Awarded to the runner who completes the greatest number of segments throughout the month. This is a test of sheer volume and dedication to the block.
The Constant (Time): Awarded to the runner with the most cumulative time spent on the segment. We celebrate the "blue-collar" miles and the time you put in on the bricks.
The Spirit Award: This one isn’t on the spreadsheet. It’s hand-picked by the judges for the runner who best exemplifies the "high-energy and slightly weird" spirit of Troy—whether that’s braving a rainstorm with a smile or being the ultimate hype-person for other runners.
The Fine Print: In the event of a tie in any data category, the "Judges' Final Decision" policy applies. We keep it light, we keep it fun, and the judges’ word is law.
